My Spin On Wordsworth…

Here’s a poem I wrote, a twist on the very classic, very famous Wordsworth poem Daffodils..

i wandered lonely as a cloud (through Tottenham)

I wandered lonely as a cloud,
they saw that I was on my own
and so they came and beat me down.
Then took my wallet and my phone.
These guys, they seek a different thrill
to Wordsworth and his daffodil.

It’s short and sweet, and is taken from my soon to be released anthology, so keep your eyes out for that! Thanks for reading!
